So much for ‘namma’ bangaluru

I truly regret to have faced such a situation in Bangalore; which has been my home for the past 8 long years. I know the roads of Bangalore more than what I know of Kolkata; my native. To encounter such an incident in BTM Layout(the so called POSH RESIDENTIAL AREA) where we have been staying for the past 4 years; left me dumbfounded.

On Sunday March 1st 2009, I had been to St. John’s Hospital in the morning. I WAS NOT WELL. I am stressing on it as to remind that I wasnt drunk nor had been to pub etc; so hopefully no controversies on that. I was with my HUSBAND. The hospital OPD was unfortunately closed so we were returning home. My husband had to withdraw cash so as he was waiting in the queue, I was waiting in the roadside parking lot in my kinetic flyte. Suddenly a Tata Innova which was standing beside me started backing without any honk nor any warning signal that it was backing. Before I could react the car was on me. I could not move as I was on my bike. It kept on coming back as he was talking over phone and couldnt hear me asking him to stop. At last, the others on the road asked him to stop backing. By that time I was already badly hurt as my bike had fallen on my leg and I couldnt get up unless he stopped his car.
My husband came to my rescue and he told them that they should have honked or looked back before backing the car. Two rowdies or I dont know who (dressed in white shirt and white pant with RED TIKA; typically looked like some political goons; but I have no clue who they were) came and started blasting Souvik(my hubby). I went there and they started abusing me in Telugu. Unfortunately I understand Telugu(thanks to Oxford) and I could understand what exactly were they saying. I retaliated and all of a blue moon they suddenly gave one punch to Souvik and then blows started on both of us with around 20 – 25 onlookers. To my surprise nobody out there supported us inspite of knowing that they were wrong and seeing us getting beaten. They felt hitting me a girl wasnt wrong but me protesting (when I was the person concerned who actually got affected) as a severe sin. Ultimately after receiving several blows in the middle of the street at around “10 AM IN THE MORNING”; we literally had to run away as the crowd said that it was a great mistake on our part to protest against them as they are BIG SHOTS(dont know how). So we felt wise to run for our lives as just the two of us couldnt have done much. Just to remind our residence and all our friends’ place was just 2 – 3 min away from the place of this incident.

I dont want justice as I know it will not happen. I couldnt note down the car’s no. It wasnt a situation where I had the liberty to do so. I just want people to know and thus create the awareness as to the state of Bangalore. I really love this place as this is where I grew up from an adolescent to an adult. But I never thought in my wildest nightmares that such a thing could ever happen in such a situation.

No comments. Just sad…

Dear Mr. Terrorist

Wow… I liked this…. In fact, I LOVED this!!!

Dear Mr. Terrorist,

My name is not Hades. Some of the more intelligent readers of The Times of Bullshit, no doubt, suspect that.

My name is Shoaib Daniyal. No, that won’t do. My name is ShoaibMohammed Daniyal.

You say that you killed 195 people in Mumbai to avenge the maltreatment that people like me with names like Mohammed have faced in India.

Let me tell you something about my self. I did my schooling in Calcutta in one of the city’s finest schools—La Martiniere for Boys. I completed my graduation in Electrical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra and am now employed with a premier business research firm in Gurgaon.

Maltreated? How?

If there was wide spread discrimination against Muslims, as you claim, how did these institutions take me in? A cursory look at my name is all it takes, if you want to discriminate.

That’s not to say that India is perfect. To get a house in Gurgaon I had to lie about my religion. I claimed I was Christian, playing up the similarity between ‘Daniel’ and ‘Daniyal’. People would not let out their house to a person named Shoaib Mohammed Daniyal.

But for that will you kill 195 people? For that will you hold hundreds more hostage? For that will you destroy a city?

And even if you do, how will that help the India Muslim? Will people now let out their flats to me? Will future landlords now say, “Bravo! Terrorists destroyed Mumbai for you. Here are the keys to my flat. If you need anything, I’m at your beck and call.”

I don’t need retarded scum like you to make my life better.  If anything, your barbaric actions will make my life worse. Much worse.

The Indian Muslim doesn’t need people killing in his name. He needs reform. The community is one of the most backward communities in India, a large part of the blame for which it will have to shoulder itself. Partition had already crippled the community, giving the Indian Muslim the easy tag of a ‘foreigner’ in his very land of birth. Do you think the he now needs Pakistani terrorists to come in and create mayhem and anarchy in India?

People across India are angry, and justifiably so. And people who are angry often act irrationally. There are calls for tougher anti-terror laws—a demand that the Congress could stave off. Till now. Our PM has already announced that his government will tighten existing laws. By carrying out this attack you have provided just the opening fundamentalists in our country needed. Who will stop the Right Wing now? The BJP has already taken out ads in Delhi which read “Fight Terror. Vote BJP” written on a background of blood. Rediff boards ring with calls for Modi as PM. And in a perverse sort of way, I agree. This government has totally failed to protect us from you.

So thanks for your concern, but no, thanks. If you want to blow yourself up and ascend to heaven, please go and do it while destroying your own country.

JUST GET THE FUCK OUT OF MINE.

Yours,

Shoaib Mohammed Daniyal

Pakistan’s take on Mumbai Terror Attacks

Ok. This is Pakistan’s side of the story.
And here’s my disclaimer:

  1. I am not ANTI-INDIA
  2. I am not ANTI-PAKISTAN
  3. I believe that if we have heard India blaming Pakistan, We should also hear what Pakistan has to say.

As a common man who is least interested in the international political games played by Indian and Pakistani Politicians, I believe I should hear both sides of the story and decide for myself who is right and who is wrong.

At the end of the day, I sincerely believe that the common man in Pakistan would never want to destroy India. Just like a common man in India would never want to harm Pakistan. I believe Pakistanis hate terrorists and terrorism as much as we Indians do. The terror in this world is caused by individuals and individual organizations which use the name of Islam for their personal agendas.

Though I did find it amusing that one fact pointed by Pakistani media is that the the gun totting terrorist of Mumbai Attacks we all saw in the snaps and news as KASAB is not Pakistani because –

  1. He is wearing a saffron thread on his right hand which is more of a HINDU tradition than MUSLIM.
  2. The Indian media said that the terrorists were carrying alcohol in their bags and no sane Muslim, especially the ones who believe to go to Allah on dying in a Jihad, would carry or take alcohol when on a mission like this.

It does sound sensible. Doesn’t it?

Some YOUTUBE VIDEOS on Pakistani TV programs on this topic. REALLY INTERESTING!

Bechaar Bebas Kabootar

ROFLMAO….

Listen to this guy go on blabbering about the “Bechaar, Bebas Kabootars”. Nope. I am not saying that these pigeons were not affected by the recent mumbai attacks. Nor am I saying they are irrelevant. Try and focus on the words the guy is using to add the dramatic air to this sad picture. Listen to the way, he is trying to tell you the story as if its from some f"&^%king mega serial!

Pathetic!

CEO beaten to death by dismissed employees

Ok. So much for being civilized. This is sad. I have no clue why those employees were so pissed off. Anyway, I had my own doubts about the authenticity of this news. So, I googled for ‘Gradiano’. Interestingly, I couldn’t find the company’s website at all. There’s news about this incident all around but no info about what the company was into, what grade of employees were working there etc. Hmmm… Wierd…

CEO beaten to death by dismissed employees
Next time if you have to lay off your employees, then you need to be careful. A gruesome incident happened in India today, when dismissed employees of a company (Gradiano) who were agitating against the Gradiano CEO and the management for their dismissal went on rampage and in this process beat the Gradiano CEO who got injured badly and taken to the hospital, where he was declared dead.

According to a report by the Press Trust of India – here are the details
Noida, Sep 22 (PTI) The Chief Executive Officer of a company was today beaten to death by a group of dismissed employees inside office premises after a meeting, called to resolve dispute between them and management, failed. L K Chaudhury, the CEO of Gradiano in Udyog Vihar of Greater Noida, was killed when the agitating workers turned violent and beat him up, Senior Superintendent of Police (Noida) R K Chaturvedi told PTI.

As the clash erupted, Chaturvedi said, a security guard opened fire in air. About 20 people were injured in the clashes. Chaudhury was rushed to Kailash hospital where he was declared brought dead. There were about 200 former employees inside the premises when the incident took place. They were dismissed two months back for some reasons and were since then protesting against it. PTI
