Do You Know Your Sonia?

I Have no idea whether the contents of this article are true.
I found them amusing so, thought I should collect it….

I have been reading too much stuff about Sonia Gandhi. I first dismissed it as total nonsense but now with the Dhar book which mentions some more shit about her, I feel scared with her as the ‘leader’ of the govt.

Do You Know Your Sonia? By Dr. Subramanian Swamy
Patriotic Indians should thank the President of India for having the courage by citing a legal hitch to dissuade Ms. Sonia Gandhi from staking her claim to form the government in May this year. She therefore did not as expected on May 17th become the Prime Minister of 1 billion plus people of India. It can now be said that the nation has been saved from a monumental, devastating, and permanent injury to India’s national interest and patriotic psyche of Indians. And therefore every effort that can be made in a democracy should be made to ensure that Ms. Sonia Gandhi is permanently out of reckoning for any public office. For those who instinctively understand that, this Note is to explain the factual basis for this conclusion, and suggest what patriotic Indians can do now .

My opposition to Ms. Sonia Gandhi is not merely because she is Italian—born. In other democratic countries, including in Italy, such an issue [of foreign-born aspiring to be head of government] would not even arise at all because the issue has already been settled by law, that a person cannot hold the highest public office unless he or she is native born.

In India there is no such law, but the President according to my knowledge, correctly acted on a proviso to Section 5 of the Indian Citizenship Act[1955] which empowers the Union Home Ministry to lay down conditions that apply to Indian citizenship acquired by foreigners by registration, which conditions would be based on the principle of reciprocity, viz., in Ms Gandhi’s case such of those conditions that apply to Indians on becoming citizens of Italy would apply to her.

The President reportedly told her that if she insisted on being invited to form the government, he would want first to clarify, on a reference to the Supreme Court, whether in view of this proviso her appointment as PM could be successfully challenged in the court. It is fair to assume that this report of the President’s decision, is correct since the President had before him my petition dated May 15, 2004 making just that point— that Ms. Gandhi’s citizenship is conditional, and in particular she cannot be the PM legally. The President had also given me an appointment at 12.45 PM on May 17, 2004 to explain my submissions in person, which I did. I also told him that I would challenge such a constitutional appointment in the Supreme Court just as I had in 2001 when the Tamil Nadu Governor illegally swore in Ms Jayalalitha as Chief Minister.

In that case, the Supreme Court had after hearing me and many other institutional luminaries, upheld my contention that mere majority in the House is insufficient for being sworn in to a constitutional office. There must be no disqualification as well. Ms. Jayalalitha had therefore to step down because she was disqualified by a conviction handed by a trial court in the TANSI corruption case filed by me as private complaint [she subsequently was acquitted by the Madras High Court, and hence became eligible the next year]. I also cited to the President a 1962 Allahabad High Court case, which held that this proviso in the Citizenship Act was binding and lawful.

The nation in the Sonia matter has thus got an unexpected but temporary reprieve, a reprieve received not only because her citizenship of India by registration is not equal to one by birth even by Indian law, but also a reprieve more because of what national security risk was averted. To comprehend that risk, we must first understand who Sonia Gandhi really is and what danger she, her family and her friends in Italy hold for India’s national security.

Even for an Indian born citizen, we find it difficult to know a person’s true background, but for an Italian born it is extremely hard because of the remote access for most people to Italy in language and familiarity. This note is about that danger that Sonia represents to the nation, which the people need to know.

Ms. Sonia Gandhi’s background as is publicized by her and her Congress Party today, is based on three lies to hide the ugly reality of her life.

First, her real name is Antonia not Sonia. The Italian Ambassador in New Delhi revealed this in a letter dated April 27, 1983 to the Union Home Ministry which letter has not been made public. Antonia is Sonia’s real name in her birth certificate. Sonia is the name given to her subsequently by her father, Stefano Maino [now deceased] following his return from Russia where he had been a prisoner of war. Stefano had joined the Nazi army as a volunteer. Sonia is a Russian not Italian name. While spending two years in a Russian jail, Sonia’s father had become quite pro-Soviet; especially after the liberating US army in Italy had confiscated all fascists’ properties including his.

Second, she was not born in Orbassano as she claims in her bio data submitted to Parliament on becoming MP, but in Luciana as stated in her birth certificate. She perhaps would like to hide the place of her birth because of her father’s connection with the Nazis and Mussolini’s Fascists, and her family’s continuing connections with the Nazi-Fascists underground that is still surviving since 1945 in Italy. Luciana is where Nazi-Fascist network is headquartered, and is on the Italian-Swiss border. There can be no other explanation for this otherwise meaningless lie.

Third, Sonia Gandhi has not studied beyond High School. She has falsely claimed in her affidavit filed as a contesting candidate before the Rae Bareli Returning Officer in the 2004 Lok Sabha elections, that she qualified and got a diploma inEnglish from the prestigious University of Cambridge, UK.

The truth is that Ms. Gandhi has never studied in any college anywhere. She did go to a Catholic nun run seminary-school called Maria Ausiliatrice in Giaveno [15 kms from adopted home town of Orbassabo]. Poverty those days forced young Italian girls to go to such missionaries and then in their teens go to UK to get jobs as cleaning maids, waitresses and au pair. The Mainos were poor those days. Her father was a mason and mother a share cropper.

Sonia thus went to the town of Cambridge and first learnt some English in a teaching shop called Lennox School [which has since 1970 been wound up]. That is all her “education” is—learnt enough English language to get domestic help jobs. But in Indian society education is highly valued. Thus, to fool the Indian public, Sonia Gandhi willfully fibbed about her qualifications in Parliamentary records [which is a Breach of Ethics Rules] and in a sworn affidavit [which is criminal offence under IPC, severe enough to disqualify her from being MP]. In popular parlance, this is called 420 or 10 “numberi” [not to be confused with 10 Janpath].

These three lies indicate that Ms. Sonia Gandhi has something to hide, or has a hidden agenda for India. We need to find out more about her.

Ms. Sonia Gandhi upon learning enough English became a waitress in Varsity Restaurant in Cambridge town. She first met Rajiv when he came to the restaurant in 1965. Rajiv was a student in the University, but could not cope with the academic rigour for long. So he had to depart in 1966 for London where he was briefly in Imperial College of Engineering as a student. Sonia too moved to London, and according my information, got a job with an outfit run by Salman Thassir, a debonair Pakistani based in Lahore, and who has a export-import company headquartered in Dubai but who spends most of his time in London. Thisfits the profile of an ISI functionary.

Obviously, Sonia made enough money in this job to loan Rajiv funds in London, who was obviously living beyond his allowances [Indira herself expressed anguish to me on this score in late 1965 when she invited me to a private tea at the Guest House in Brandeis University]. Rajiv’s letters to Sanjay, who was also in London then, clearly indicate that he was in financial debt to Sonia because he requested Sanjay who obviously had more access to money, to pay off the debt.

However, Rajiv was not the only friend Sonia was seeing those days. Madhavrao Scindia and a German by name Stiegler are worth mentioning as other good friends of Sonia. Madhavrao’s friendship continued even after Sonia’s marriage to Rajiv. Scindia in 1982 was involved in a traffic accident near IIT, Delhi main gate while driving a car at 2 AM. Sonia was the only other passenger. Both were badly injured. A student of IIT who was burning midnight oil was out for a cup of coffee. He picked them up from the car, hailed an auto rickshaw and sent an injured Sonia to Mrs Indira Gandhi’s house since she insisted in not going to a hospital. Madhavrao had broken a leg and in too much pain to make any demand. He was taken to hospital by the Delhi Police who had arrived a little after Sonia had left the scene. In later years, Madhavrao had become privately critical of Sonia, and told some close friends about his apprehensions about Sonia. It is a pity that
he died in mysterious circumstances in an aircrash.

The circumstance under which Rajiv hastily married Sonia in a Church in Orbassano is controversial but that was his personal matter that has no public significance. But what is of public significance is that Indira Gandhi who was initially dead set against the marriage for reasons known to her, relented to hold a registry marriage with Hindu ceremonial trappings in New Delhi only after the pro-Soviet T.N. Kaul prevailed upon her to accept the marriage in “the larger interest of cementing Indo-Soviet Friendship”. Kaul would not have intervened unless the Soviet Union had asked him to.

Such has been the extensive patronage from the beginning extended to Sonia Gandhi from the Soviets. When a Prime Minister of India’s son dates a girl in London, the KGB which valued Indo-Soviet relations, obviously would investigate her and find out that she was the daughter of Stefano, their old reliable Italian contact. Thus, Sonia with Rajiv meant deeper access to the household of the Indian Prime Minister. Hence cementing the Rajiv-Sonia relations was in the Soviet national interest and they went to work on it. And they did through their then existing moles in the Indira Gandhi camp.

After her marriage to Rajiv, the Soviet connection with the Mainos was fortified and nurtured by generous financial help through commissions and kickbacks on every Indo,Soviet trade deal and defence purchases. According to the respected Swiss magazine, Schweitzer Illustrate [November 1991 issue], Rajiv Gandhi had about $ 2 billion in numbered Swiss bank accounts, which Sonia inherited upon his assassination. Dr. Yevgenia Albats, Ph.D [Harvard], is a noted Russian scholar and journalist, and was a member of the KGB Commission set up by President Yeltsin in August 1991. She was privy to the Soviet intelligence files that documented these deals and KGB facilitation of the same. In her book,The State Within a State. The KGB in Soviet Union, she even gives the file numbers of such intelligence files, which can now be accessed by any Indian government through a formal request to the Kremlin.

The Russsian Government in 1992 was confronted by the Albats’ disclosure; they confirmed it through their official spokesperson to the press [which was published in Hindu in 1992], defending such financial payments as necessary in “Soviet ideological interest”.

When the Soviet Union disintegrated in 1991, things changed for Ms. Sonia Gandhi. Her patrons evaporated. The rump that became Russia was in a financial mess and disorder. So Ms. Sonia Gandhi became a supporter of another communist country to the annoyance of the Russians.

The national security ramification of this ‘annoyance’ is now significant: The President of Russia today is Putin, a former dyed-in-the-wool KGB officer. Upon Dr. Manmohan Singh’s government taking office, Russia called back it’s career diplomat Ambassador in New Delhi and immediately posted as the new Ambassador a person who was the KGB station chief in New Delhi during the 1970s. In view of Dr. Albats confirmed revelation, it stands to reason that the new Ambassador would have known first hand about Sonia’s connections with the KGB. He may have in fact been her “controller”. The new Indian government which is defacto Sonia’s, cannot afford to annoy him or even disregard Russian demands coming from him? They will obviously placate him so as not to risk exposure. Is this not a major national security risk and a delicate matter for the nation?

Of course, all Indians would like good normal and healthy relations with Russia. Who can forget their assistance to us in times of need? Today’s Russia is the residual legatee of that Soviet Union which helped India. But just because of that, should we tolerate those in our government set up having clandestine links with a foreign spy agency? In the United States, the government did not tolerate an American spying for Israel even though the two countries are as close as any two countries can be. National security and friendship are asdifferent as chalk and cheese.

In December 2001, I had filed a Writ Petition in the Delhi High Court with the photocopies of the KGB documents, and sought a CBI investigation, which the Vajpayee Government was refusing. Earlier, Minister of State for CBI, Vasundara Raje [now Rajasthan CM], on my letter dated March 3, 2001, had ordered the CBI to investigate. But after Sonia Gandhi and her party stalled the proceedings of Parliament on this issue, the then Prime Minister Vajpayee cancelled Vasundara’s direction to the CBI.

The Delhi High Court issued a direction to the CBI to ascertain from Russia the truth of my charges. The CBI procrastinated for three years, and finally told the Court without an FIR registered the Russians will not entertain any such query. But who stopped the CBI from registering an FIR? The next hearing of the case is on September 8th.

After Sonia married Rajiv, she went about minting money with scant regard for Indian laws and treasures. Within a few years the Mainos went from utter poverty to billionaires. There was no area that was left out for the rip-off. On November 19, 1974, as fresh entrant to Parliament, I asked the then Prime Minister Ms. Indira Gandhi on the floor of the House if her daughter-in-law, Sonia Gandhi was acting as an insurance agent of a public sector insurance company [Oriental Fire & Insurance], giving the Prime Minister’s official residence as her business address, and using undue influence to insure all the officers of the PMO while remaining an Italian citizen [thus violating FERA]? There was uproar in Parliament, but Mrs. Indira Gandhi had no alternative but to cut her losses. She made a rare admission that it was so, and that it was by mistake, but that Sonia had resigned from her insurance agent status [after my question]. But Sonia was incorrigible. Her contempt for Indian law continued to manifest.

The Justice A.C. Gupta Commission set up by the Janata Party government in 1977 came out with a voluminous report on the Maruti Company then owned by the Gandhi family, and has listed eight violations of FERA, Companies Act, and Foreigners Registration Act by Sonia Gandhi. She was never prosecuted, but can be still prosecuted because under Indian law, economic crimes not subject to the statute of limitation.

In January 1980, Indira Gandhi returned as Prime Minister. The first thing Sonia did was to enroll herself as a voter. This was a gross violation of the law, enough to cause cancellation of her visa [since she was admittedly an Italian citizen then]. There was some hullabaloo in the press about it, so the Delhi Chief Electoral Officer got her name deleted in 1982. But in January 1983, she again enrolled herself as a voter! Such is her revealed disdain for Indian laws and that is her mindset even today.

The bottom line observed in Sonia’s mindset is that she can always run back to Italy if she becomes vulnerable at anytime. In Peru, President Fujimori who all along claimed to be “born Peruvian”, faced with a corruption charge fled to Japan with his loot and reclaimed his Japanese citizenship.

In 1977, when the Janata Party defeated the Congress at the polls, and formed the government, Sonia with her two children, abandoned Indira Gandhi and ran to the Italian Embassy in New Delhi and hid there. Rajiv Gandhi was a government servant then [as an Indian Airlines pilot], but he too tagged along and hid in that foreign embassy ! Such was her baneful influence on him. Rajiv did snap out Sonia’s influence after 1989, but alas he was assassinated before he could rectify it. Those close to Rajiv knew that he was planning set things right about Sonia after the 1991 elections. She did too know of it because he had told her. Ever wonder why Sonia’s closest advisers are those whom Rajiv literally hated? Ambika Soni is one such name. Ever wonder why she asked the President of India to set aside, on a mercy petition, the Supreme Court judgment directing that Rajiv Gandhi’s LTTE killers be hanged to death, when she was not similarly moved for Satwant Singh who killed Indira Gandhi or recently for Dhanajoy Chattopadhyaya? The explanation for this special consideration for the LTTE lies in what Rajiv had told her in 1990.

Those who have no love for India will not hesitate to plunder her treasures. Mohammed Ghori, Nadir Shah, and the British scum in the East India Company made no secret of it. But Sonia Gandhi has been more discreet, but as greedy, in her looting of Indian treasures. When Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi were PrimeMinisters, not a day passed when the PM’s security did not go to the New Delhi, or Chennai international airport to send crates and crates unchecked by customs to Rome. Air India and Alitalia were the carriers. Mr. Arjun Singh first as CM, later as Union Minister in charge of Culture was her hatchet man. Indian temple sculpture of gods and goddesses, antiques, pichwai paintings, shatoosh shawls, coins, and you name it, were transported to Italy to be first displayed in two shops owned by her sister [i.e., Anuskha alias Alessandra]. These shops located in blue-collar areas of Rivolta [shop name: Etnica] and Orbassano [shop name:Ganpati] did little business because which blue collar Italian wants Indian antiques? The shops were to make false bills, and thereafter these treasures were taken to London for auction by Sotheby’s and Christies. Some of this ill-gotten money from auction went into Rahul Gandhi’s National way into the Gandhi family account in the Bank of America in Cayman Islands.

Rahul’s expenses and tuition fees for the one-year he was at Harvard, was paid from the Cayman Island account. What kind of people are these Gandhi-Mainos that bite the very hand of Bharat Mata that fed them and gave them a good life? How can the nation trust such greedy thieves?

Since I failed to persuade the Vajpayee government to defend India’s treasures from plunder by the Mainos, I approached the Delhi High Court in a PIL. The first Bench of the court issued notice to the Government, but since the Indian government dragged it’s feet, the Court directed the CBI to seek Interpol’s and Italian government’s help. The Italian government justifiably asked for a Letter Rogatory for which a FIR is a pre-requisite. But the Interpol did oblige and submitted two voluminous reports, which the Court directed the CBI to hand over to me. But CBI has refused, and has claimed privilege! The CBI has also been caught lying in court by telling the judges that Alessandra Maino is a name of a man, and Via Bellini 14, Orbassano is a name of a village [not the street address of the Maino’s residence]. Although the CBI counsel had to apologise to the court stating he made a mistake, he has been promoted to Additional Solicitor General by the new government! The Vajpayee-Sonia mutual assistance pact is in full view. The case now comes up on September 8th.

But the most sinister aspect of Sonia Gandhi’s character is her connection with terrorists. I am still working on it, but she has had long connection with the Habash group of Palestinian, and has funded Palestinian families that lost their kith and kin in a suicide bombing or hijacking episode. This, Rajiv Gandhi himself told me and was confirmed to me [the funding] by Yassir Arafat when I met him in Tunis on October 17, 1990 at the request of Rajiv Gandhi. Rajiv Gandhi and I were good friends from 1978, but became very close buddies after V.P. Singh had betrayed him in 1987. We met practically every day, mostly in the early hours from 1AM to 4AM. It was at my suggestion that he made Chandrashekhar the PM. And contrary to public impression, he was not mainly responsible for the fall of Chandrashekar government in which I was a Minister.

Besides the Palestinian extremists, the Maino family have had extensive business dealings with Saddam Hussein, and surprisingly with the LTTE [“the Tamil Tigers”] since 1984. Sonia’s mother Paola Predebon Maino, and businessman Ottavio Quattrocchi were the main contacts with the Tigers. The mother used the LTTE for money laundering and Quattrocchi for selling weapons to earn commissions.

Sonia’s conduit to the LTTE has been and is through Arjun Singh who uses Bangalore as the nodal point for contact. There is a string of circumstantial evidence pointing to the prima facie possibility that the Maino family may have contracted the LTTE to kill Rajiv Gandhi. The family may have assured the LTTE that nothing would happen to them because they would ensure it is blamed on the Sikhs or the evidence so much fudged that no court would convict them. But D.R. Karthikeyan of the CBI who led the SIT
investigation got the support of Narasimha Rao and cracked the case, and got the LTTE convicted in the trial court, and which conviction was upheld in the Supreme Court.

Although on the involvement of Congress Party in the assassination, DRK soft peddled on a number of leads perhaps because he did not want political controversy to put roadblocks on his investigation as a whole. The Justice J. S. Verma Commission, which was set up as the last official act of the Chandrashekhar government before demitting office on June 21, 1991, did find that the Congress leaders had disrupted the security arrangements for the Sriperumbudur meeting. The Commission wanted further probe into it but the Rao government rejected that demand. In the meantime under Sonia’s pressure, the Jain Commission was set up by the Rao government, which tried to muddy the waters and thus exonerate the LTTE. But the trial court judgment convicting the LTTE came earlier, and that sinister effort too failed.

Nowadays, Sonia is quite unabashed in having political alliance with those who praise Rajiv Gandhi’s killers. No Indian widow would ever do that. My investigations into Sonia’s involvement in Rajiv’s assassination is therefore still on. I am also author of a best seller titled Assassination Of Rajiv Gandhi,Unasked Questions and Unanswered Queries [published by Konark in 2000] in which I have given some indications.

Is it not significant that the political career of Sonia Gandhi advances concomitantly with a series of assassinations and apparently accidental deaths? How did Sanjay’s plane nosedive to a crash and yet the fuselage not explode? There was no fuel! Why was there no inquiry conducted? Is it not a fact that Indira Gandhi died because of loss of blood from the wounds and not directly due to a bullet impacting her head or heart? Then is it not strange that Sonia had insisted that the bleeding Indira be driven to Lohia Hospital — in the opposite direction to AIIMS, which had a contingency protocol set up for precisely suchan event? And after reaching Lohia Hospital, did not Sonia change her mind and demand that they all drive to AIIMS thus losing 24 valuable minutes.

The same kind of mystery surrounds the sudden deaths of Sonia’s other political roadblocks such as Rajesh Pilot, Jitendra Prasad, and Madhavrao Scindia. Such things happened in the dark ages in Italy. Should we allow it India like dumb cattle?

What Can We Do?

We have to ensure that the Maino clan does not stay in power. Dr. Manmohan Singh may be PM, which is a small relief, but he is not a fighter. The real power in government today is wielded by the Maino mafia gang. Can they be dethroned?

In Indian democracy, only a shocking scandal can unseat a government other than by losing majority. Today’s priority is not for toppling the Congress government as such since Manmohan Singh is a decent and scholarly person, but in driving the Maino clan out of India. It will however not be long before Sonia will give Manmohan Singh marching orders, and he will march out meekly. We should not expect him to resist.

With Sonia’s defacto government in place, it is also unrealistic to expect that I can get an early victory in the courts on the KGB and antique smuggling cases.

The most potent weapon therefore to dislodge the Maino clan [including Rahul and Priyanka] is by exposing their Italian citizenship. In 1992, Sonia revived her citizenship of Italy under Article 17 of the Italian Citizenship Law [Act 91 of 1992]. Rahul and Priyanka were born Italian citizens because Sonia was Italian when she gave birth to them [Italian law based on jure sanguinis]. Hence, they continue be Italians since they never renounced it. Both have been traveling abroad on Italian passports. They may now acquire Venezuela passports since Rahul’s girl friend Veronica is a Venezuelan. That means one more foreign bahu for us tolerant Indians. The Maino-Gandhis are certainly getting globalized. So what can patriotic Indians do?

There is an urgent need to document these facts on notarized paper, for which we need a network in London, Milan, Hongkong and Venezuela. Those persuaded by my above stated facts and arguments may join in and help set up this network.

It is explosive material. What I dont understand is why these things are not brought up by the Indian media. Not even by the section of the media which is not favourably disposed to the Nehru-Gandhi family. What is surprising is that even the Vajpayee Govt. with so many people who have been born enemies of the the family failed to publicise this let alone take action.

At this rate our country is destined to go to hell.

It sounds all like a fantasy or a horror movie. If all this is true, there will be many who want to support the author, with the media being so widespread. When the TV channels cover 24-hour to 48-hour live the accidental fall and retrival of a child in a pit, do not you think this is 10,000 thousand times more explosive and powerful to both expose the so called high profile cheats and save the gullible people of our country and provide an alternative?

Our poliiticians including great Subramanya Swamy use their knowledge to further their own political interests. If Swamy claims to have so much of evidence and also informs that no political party including the BJP and the Communists have raised any legal proceedings agains Sonis points out that all the politicians are playing with country’s security and sovereignity to further their own political ends.Swamy has changed his support several times that it makes us doubt his seriousness and sincerity towards justice. As long as our country has these kinds of politicians our country could be handed over to foreign power anytime by these self-seeking politicians.

Hhmm… an interesting article giving more insights and info. Though cannot believe in entireity or dispose of fully, we have to wait for time to see things coming up in open world.

I have read more of Gurumurthy’s articles as well of that Dr. Swamy’s.

This article by Swamy gains significance from the recent spark off that went off with the remarks of Rahul Gandjhi during his election compaign.

This also shows that we cannot rest assured that opposition party will bring things to light. The only option is Judiciary. I wish Dr. Swamy all success in his efforts.

Though the article doesn’t prove to be entirely true, there is definitely some truth. It requires a careful examination by the judiciary. In my opinion, if the story is true, they deserve to be hanged publicly.

But one thing is definitely true that these people are the most dangerous enemies of the country, more dangerous than the terrorists who have terrorised this country.

It is this kind of mindset which has taken a toll now. People don’t read first of all or don’t understand the truth or don’t want to understand anything. They simply go by whatever they hear from xxxxxxxxxx.

This is not a kind of spam mail which says that “we have a billion or gold reserve and want to make use of your services and in turn we will pay you a million dollar.

There are people who spend time in replying these kind of mails, but don’t read some useful articles.

    What else to say?

    Nothing too good to listen..
These kind of stories are always there when it comes to elections and politics. Had there been anything right in these, it would have been unearthed decades before. The right script(right hoax) is one which convinces the most doubtful eye. So script along known facts, give twists that can be made believable – thats how you get people hooked to it – thats how classics are made.

I could not find why this same matter did not published by any news paper so far. Please try to publish in as many news papers all over the world. I think even 99.9 % news papers are biased and pseudo secular in this country, especially The Hindu. They must have a doubt whether they face protests from so called pseudo secular politicians not really from communities that now a days Sonia and her family really belongs to christian and muslim community. They think to that extent even.

I have been silently reading the comments for quiet sometime now. Maybe I should join the discussion too 😉 . Maybe the above mentioned theory is true; maybe its not; maybe some parts of it are true and some of it are “exaggerated” facts.

No matter who rules the country, we have been seeing consistently that as long as there are 100 thousand different parties running different parts of the country, the country is not going to develop. Democracy is our pride and its our problem too. Too much power in the hands of common man and common man is stupid. The politicians use this power and leave the blame on the common man who elects the politician in the first place.

At some level, the whole world has the same problems India has – poverty, unemployment, corrupt politicians, religious violence, terrorist acts, population explosion, military insecurity etc. These problems are existent even in the developed countries. So, whats the difference? Life for the common man in those countries are much better than ours in India.

In India, things are worse because the common man blames it all on the politicians. But, no one does anything about these politicians. They come, go and come back again like seasons. Whether they are good or bad, they somehow come back to power.

My question is – Is the real question about an Italian ruling India? Or is it about India not developing? Will it really help India if we send out the foreigners and let true Indians to run the show? I am not supporting congress or sonia or for that matter any political party of figure. All I am saying is, no matter who rules, India has got a long way to catch up with rest of the world. And the gap seems to be ever-expanding!

Change the system!!! Not the people who run it. Change the system so that even if a politician with nefarious intentions come to power – they also make sure that hey do some good for the country amidst all the looting. Change the system so that it really doesn’t matter whether its an Indian or a foreigner who runs the show.

Think of the country’s political institution as a corporate organization. If the corporate needs skillsets that is not available in India. Be open to tap the resource from other countries. Do not leave the country in the hands of people who talk nice words, who make sweet promises. The country needs not just experienced politicians, we need intelligent politicians. Each mla/minister should have his resumes typed out. Their resumes should be competitive enough to let them run the government. Our prime minister is an intellectual and highly educated person. But, what good is he in the company of 1000+ fools and illiterate idiots that form the rest of the government? Even if he has bright ideas they will be lost in red tapes and paperwork.

To save the country, change the system!

Eye opening article. Such information should be known to public as early as possible so that we know the truth. I think there is something she is hiding. Sonia’s personality is not what we see. If you pay attention to her speeches, it’s clear she is a great liar. Looks like she is making fool to all of us (Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Jains etc)

On a side note, check this out…

Jaipur: An auto-rickshaw driver in Rajasthan has Congress President Sonia Gandhi’s name tattooed on his chest at least 125 times although he is not a party member.

Ashok Pandit, who lives in Pali town, reveres Sonia “like a goddess”. “According to me, today’s politicians can go to any extent to get undue benefits. Amid them Sonia is one leader who has even refused the post of prime minister for the welfare of the country,” he says.

She had the spirit of sacrifice missing in other leaders, he said, referring to Sonia’s refusal to accept the prime minister’s post when her party came to power in New Delhi in 2004. Pandit also has Sonia’s posters pasted inside his vehicle.

It was at a fair that he got the politician’s name tattooed on his chest 125 times – not only an expensive process at Rs.500 but also a painful one. “My only wish is to meet Sonia Gandhi personally,” Pandit said.

I am an Indian born. If I was ever made the president of US, I will still do things best for India. No matter what the US gives to me. The hand that rules is the hand that rocked the cradle or in this case, the mind always eventually works accoding to the dictates of our roots.

Sonia and her family can never be 100% sincere towards India.

  46. #46 by STE on April 26, 2007 - 10:01 am

I argued with several of my friends in Sonia not a suitable cadidate for the PMO and so is Rahul Ghandhi. Rahul was able to find a venezulan girl friend, among several million Indian girls. NO issues there, as this is personal matter. But is that we Indians are going to face the same scenario as we are facing now with Sonia? But the point here is, Has only Indian born or Person with Indian values should assume the PMO. Sure I will go with the second option, but as law mutual existance, Only a Indian born, fed with Indian values from Childhood, lived in India will understand the need of the Indians. In this regard, I challenge Sonia. By several records, I know that Sonia still had Italian passport till 1983. If I am challenged that it took several years for Sonia to realize India, then does the minority appeasement, reservations are those what Sonia has realized about India and not her glorious past.

There is a common saying that being cheated for first time will be the cheater’s fault and for the second time, its our fault. Are we going to do the second mistake? Ghandhi, himself was doing minority appeasement to some extent and it result in losing 1/3rd of India and a scar that led to clear demarcation between Hindus and Muslims. British and Nehru clearly handled negatoism and twisted the truth about India’s history and still we are reading the false. There has tons of evidence of “faked Aryan Invasion theory”, “New culture from the muslim rulers etc”. And recently, even after the ASI has confirmed the presence of Dwaraka in 1982, still its not present in our text books and if any party propogates, then its called as fundamentalist.

Why are we living in the double standards? Sonia and its Ghandhian family are truely the product of the negotism and they will never revive the truth of the glorious Indian past.

I don’t denounce Sonia for her Italian origin, but I denounce her for the unpatriotic Indianism.

what ever he says cannot hold under scrutiny. Its plain common sense that BJP wouldnt spare even the slightest chance at maligning the gandhi family more so the Congress chief. But the question is why are they not even looking at it…answer is simple …that the article is by the great truth finder Dr. Subramanian Swamy.

According to me, I like Mr. Vajpayee who knows in and outs of Indian History. Why he did’t take up this when NDA was in power for 5 years. May be owing to coilation. Basically Indians are fools. They should bring BJP at centre at absolute majority. Then it might works.

This is quite interesting. Whether itz true or n’t is questionable. But we Indians are fools. We never think patriotically and vote for a party with substantial heavy thought eg. BJP. Yes ? Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpeyi is the only one person who knows the in and outs of Indian History. I don’t know during his tenure while in NDA why this has n’t come into picture or.Mr. Swamy would have put it before him.

    Dear Udayms,

Thank you very much for valuable information.
I am from same backward rural belt of UP Rai Bareli, where Sonia has her MP seat.

We Indians generally regard everyone clean, honest and true till he/ she found anything wrong or proved guilty.

I thinkFor very high posts & profiles this is not right approach. We should verify character & activities of a person completely before he/she joins in politics and taking any big responsibilities.

There are lots of provisions for Govt Servants and other appointments. So we can place a amendment in constitution to check this types of lapses in future.

We need to educate our Indian brothers & sisters about this. It will take time but this is the only solution to this problem.

Dr. Swamy has changed his positions many times that it does sound like he just wanted to blackmail Sonia rather than giving the whole truth.

I wish a more balance truth to come out.

Sentence like ‘such is her mind till today’… this is ridiculous. Dr. Swamy has changed and what if Sonia too has changed …. you make me laugh, Swamy… because you do not have intellectual ability to work with others but remain a single man party that has no power to change anything in our country.

If Vajpayee could not do when he was in power, you must work with some big party and become PM yourself so that you can do such things. You are simply barking like a dog does to a moving train. Such are the politicians today.. Pity..

Mr Swamy: Why did you join hands with Jayalalitha after exposing her corruption?

Mr Swamy, You and other politicians have changed their alliances so often and so quickly, sometimes within months. How can you calim to understand this vast and complex country if you can’t even understand your political allies.

Mr Swamy, years ago you said you will become prime minister in so many years. Well past that mark, whatever went wrong? Do you think you will still become PM some day?

Dr Swamy: Why your party Janata Party not able to spread the organisation in various parts of India. After all you are the one of the most charismatic leader in India today. Or do you think Indian voters are fool not to recognise your talent?

Dr Swamy: How can you call Jayalalitha, a patriotic, who has spend crores of public money on her foster son’s marriage?

Mr S.Swamy You originally started your career with RSS, then you quit it. But You now have strong reservations with them , then why did you join them intially??

Dr.Swami>> It is said that politics makes strange bedfellows. Do you think this is true in your case. How do you explain your constant realignment.

Dr.Swami>> Whe are you going to withdraw your cases against Ms.Jaya, now that both of you are partners….

Dr. Swamy, In an interview to Rediff, you have quoted that you almost had a chance of getting the Nobel prize. What was this for !!!

“At the moment I have no cases pending against Ms Jayalalitha since in 1996” ….!!! Are you saying that you disown your allegations against Jayalalitha? What happens to public money that was wasted in investigating your allegations against her? Do you always disown your actions?

  77. #77 by anurag on October 8, 2007 - 9:24 am

This is the foolish thing I have ever read. But I am not surprised to hear this from the good for nothing SuSamy. First of all, the article is a cheap bluff and contains no factual evidence of his charges. Of course if even one bit of it is true he would have already filed cases against her, as it is the only thing he does for a political living. His threats are much like the terrorists threat to use the nukes. The point is if they had nukes, they would have used it already. SuSamy has no nukes. He only has his filthy, twisted, self-serving mind despite his impressive academic background. He had the opportunity once to do so much good for the people of India. But he showed no leadership and faltered then. For a long time now, he lives by such cheap accusations, stupid political predictions and filing cases against other politicians. This article is not about Sonia. This article is about himself. This is the way he plays his politics.

And this is why he has no mandate from the people. He betrayed and screwed up the Madurai constituents once. He will never raise back in politics from Madurai. His party is doomed. You know why. Because all he does is play negative politics. What is his contribution to India? He has filed cases against the rich and powerful when they are not in line with his arrogance. But where was his scholarly conscience when he was in bed with the Congress or AIADMK?

The article may be appealing to the BJP/VHP/RSS sympathisers for it is in line with their cheap tactics of sending emails enmass whining about india’s shame if Sonia became the PM, shaving their heads off and playing every trick on the book immediatly after the parlimantary elections. Get this losers. If Sonia wanted to become the PM, there was no force on earth that could have stopped her. Not a supreme court case. It is perfectly legal according to our constitution for a naturalized citizen to become a PM, unlike in US. The mandate for congress from the people of India was not for anyone else other than Ms.Sonia Gandhi. And she choose to gave it off for her own reasons. And who has she appointed in the seat? A renowned technocrat who turned the country around for good in the early 90s. If the same thing happens in the movies, you would have clapped your hands and walked out with the satisfaction of an sssurance for the future of the country. But when it happens in real life, you miss the whole point.

    Wow, what an investigative article!!
Dr. Subramanian Swamy is really a genius. To collect all these information from such varied sources, and also directly from Rajeev Gandhi (that too about his wife!!) – man, I envy you..

  80. #80 by Nathan on October 9, 2007 - 2:36 am

To me things are quite clear when i connect up Swamy’s article. Sonia is nothing other than an Italian Fascist, daugher of an established one, who has tied up with the German Nazi Bush ( read about his connections from his Grandfather’s time- Prescott Bush).
Sonia is the Italian Mata Hari in the Indian system usurping our culture, our independence and our freedom.

  81. #81 by Ranjan on October 9, 2007 - 3:19 pm

Hi, Its a great article. Also gone through all the good comments posted by Users. I can see this article fro two aspect.
One is Sonia is a foreigner and whether she should be allowed to run our country. As an Indian, I would definitely say big *NO*. Not only me, but also any good citizen(I am sorry if it hurts anybody) of any country would never want his/her country to run by a foreigner. Even I dont think Rahul or anybody from Gandhi family would ever be allowed to run country.

The second part is India public needs to select good politicians. In democracy most power is on general public’s hand and Once they selected a leader then its the system that should guide the politicians to carry out work. BUT is our system good enough to guide politicians. I would rather say our politicians are guiding the system. Let me put here that, yesterday when Karnataka guv recommended President’s rule, Cabinet suddenly called for meeting and approved President’s rule. Everything happened within couple of hours. And when Supreme Court observed for President’s rule in TN, there were completely different behaviour from Govt. Even nobody from Cabinet was ready to talk/analyze the order. So its merely a farce of SC’s order. Needless to mention here that TN govt hurts the great belief of Hindu sentiment and even they disobeyed SC ruling. So it comes down to how you are protecting your seat and it does not matter even you are going against your own community, your own country. This is our current political situation.

Absolutely ridiculous. The whole article oozes hatred and spite towards Sonia. Whatever reason there is, I dont think even one percent of this is true. It is a fantastic article to brainwash the millions of Indians who are half educated and who the moment they read this website will believe anything they read, because they want the hatred and gossip in their minds to target someone.

True Ugly Face Of Congress Pseudo-Secularism [Read Communalism]

Godhra and the Gujarat explosion are the culmination of appeasement policies rooted in dhimmitude. ‘Secularism’ is an illusion that has collapsed.
    Godhra and the Nation
Future historians may see Godhra and its aftermath as a watershed in the history of modern India. The Hindu reaction to the burning alive of Ram Bhaktas trapped in the Sabarmati Express has brought into focus both the unchanging mindset of the Indian Muslims and the rapidly changing ground realities in the Hindu world. It shatters several myths about the people of India, Hindus in particular, that had become part and parcel of the thinking of the so-called secular politicians and intellectuals including the media. It may represent also the collapse of ‘vote bank’ politics that has led to fragmentation of political parties. Most importantly, we may be witnessing the emergence of a concept of nationalism rooted in Indian history and tradition rather than the one based on the Constitution and the laws borrowed from the West.
This last point is worth some elaboration. When the Parliament was attacked by Pakistan sponsored terrorists on December 13, 2002, there was national outrage to be sure, but it fades into insignificance in the face of the public reaction to the Godhra massacre of Rama Bhaktas returning from Ayodhya. This suggests that for the great majority of Indians, symbols like Ayodhya, associated with their history and tradition, resonate more powerfully than constitutional symbols like the Parliament and the courts. Unlike the United States, which is defined by its Constitution, the Indian nation is defined by its history and tradition. Sri Aurobindo expressed this truth nearly a century ago in his famous Uttarapara speech:
“It is this dharma that I am raising up before the world, it is this that I have perfected and developed through the Rishis, saints and Avatars, and is now going forth to do my work among the nations… When therefore it is said that India shall rise, it is Sanatana Dharma that shall rise. When it is said that India shall be great, it is Sanatana Dharma that shall be great. When it is said that India shall expand and extend itself, it is Sanatana Dharma that shall expand and extend itself all over the world. It is for the Dharma and by the Dharma that India exists… I say no longer that nationalism is a creed, a religion, a faith; I say that it is the Sanatana Dharma which for us is the nationalism.”
The message is clear. India and Sanatana Dharma exist for each other. Sanatana Dharma is Indian nationalism and Indian nationalism is Sanatana Dharma. Any constitution or political system that ignores this basic reality is unlikely to endure. The failure of leaders and thinkers of the last half-century lies in the fact that they failed to grasp this basic truth while trying to force on the people of India a system of rules and beliefs that were hostile to this millennia old tradition. They sought to justify this by appealing to something they called ‘secularism’, which was turned into a dogma that was never defined and placed above debate. (It is a different matter that this secularism was a fraud having nothing to do with secular polity.)
Further, in order to make this alien transplant work, they sought to suppress every Hindu aspiration as anti-secular and reactionary. This gave rise to a class of politicians and intellectuals that flourished by feeding on this anti-national growth in the name of secularism. It was of course far from secular—for it was friendly to every alien import like Arab Muslim Law (Sharia) in preference to Indian Law, and Macaulayite education in opposition to education that sprang from the soil. It culminated in the import of a ‘national’ leader with no roots or any stake in the nation. The idea was that groups and individuals who felt no attachment to nationhood rooted in the soil would be made loyal by uprooting tradition, distorting history and replacing them with alien institutions that would suit these alienated souls. So, if the people could not be loyal to the nation, the nation would be erased and a new pseudo-secular pseudo-nation created for their benefit. This way, mountain would be brought to Mohammed.
    Disenfranchising the Hindus
The result of this ‘secularization’ was the virtual disenfranchisement of the Hindus in their own country. The Constitution and the laws were distorted to the point that loyalty to the history and tradition was regarded as all but a crime. Anyone who demanded that the law of the land should be the same for everyone regardless of religion was denounced as a communal chauvinist, while organizations like the Muslim Personal Law Board that demanded laws created in Medieval Arabia (Shariat) were accommodated. The same people who demanded the creation of Pakistan but chose to stay in India were given concessions to make them feel they were living in a Muslim country.
In the process, a large group of politicians became prisoners of this inexorable anti-national current. Politicians of the Congress party and its offshoots soon began to feel that their very survival depended on minority appeasement in the name of secularism. Secularism, instead of being a means of achieving harmony in a multi-religious country, became the means of survival for a class of politicians and intellectuals. In the event, it is hardly surprising that the Congress and its leaders sound increasingly like the Muslim League of pre-Partition days. For example, Sonia Gandhi’s speeches are shown more on Pakistani television than on Indian television.
    Minority appeasement
A single statistic will suffice to show how far the country has traveled in its course of minority appeasement and Hindu disenfranchisement. Under Article 30 of the Constitution, the state has control of Hindu institutions while Muslim and Christian institutions are free to function without government interference. In practice, this has gone much further, to the point of looting Hindu institutions to fund Islamic ones. As Sri Sri Ravishankar pointed out in a recent interview, in the state of Karnataka alone, the Government takes Rs 40 crores from the temples, while only 50 lakhs are returned to them. On the other hand, mosques generate about 40 lakhs but receive 8 crores from the Government. This means that money taken from temples is used to subsidize mosques and madrasas, many of which are engaged in anti-national activity!
Nationwide this kind of cross subsidizing—by taking money from temples to fund mosques and madrasas—must run into hundreds of crores. In addition, under the Haj Bill introduced by Jawaharlal Nehru in 1959, the Government of India spent Rs 125 crores in 2001 alone in the form of subsidies to Haj pilgrims. No such help is available for other religious groups even for pilgrimages within India. So why blame Pakistan or Saudi Arabia for fomenting Islamic extremism in India when the ‘secular’ governments in India are doing the same, with a substantial part of the money coming from the temples? The Governments have been able to get away with this patent fraud only because the public was kept in the dark. With increasing awareness among the Hindus, it is no longer possible to hide these.
Is it any wonder that the Hindus feel discriminated against and even disenfranchised in their own country?
    Ignoring history
In the face of all this, it would be a serious error to look at Godhra in isolation as a ‘communal riot’. To understand Godhra and its bloody aftermath, we need to go back to 1920, when the Swadeshi Movement of Sri Aurobindo and Tilak was abandoned for the theocratic aims of the Khilafat. The facts are well known to historians, though history books tend to gloss over the unpleasant reality of the Moplah Rebellion. Soon after Tilak’s death, Mahatma Gandhi launched the Non-Cooperation Movement in support of the Indian Muslims’ demand for the Khilafat, or the restoration of the Sultan of Turkey as the head of the Islamic Ottoman Empire, which had been defeated in the Great War (1914-1918). In launching it, Gandhi proclaimed that the Khilafat was more important than Swaraj, which had been the prior goal of the Congress under Tilak. (He also diverted a large sum of money from the Tilak Swaraj Fund to the Khilafat Committee.)
The Khilafat Non-Cooperation Movement was an unmitigated disaster. The Khilafat Movement, whose goal was to replace the British Raj with ‘Khilafat Raj’ failed to achieve its goal of “Swaraj within the year” promised by Gandhi. The resulting Muslim anger was now turned from the British towards innocent Hindus. There were riots all over India. It was particularly violent in Kerala where a full-scale rebellion called the Moplah Rebellion erupted, which took the British several months to crush. Thousands of Hindus were massacred, women outraged and many forcibly converted. But still Gandhi, who had a good deal to answer for, claimed that the Moplahs were only doing what their religion taught them and should be regarded as god-fearing and devout! What is important to note is that investigations made it clear that the Moplah Rebellion, like the recent Godhra Massacre, was a carefully planned campaign and by no means a spontaneous uprising.
An immediate consequence of the Khilafat and the Moplah Rebellion was a belief among Muslim leaders that Hindu leaders would buckle under the threat of violence. This was to have catastrophic consequences at the time of Independence. Feeling that the Congress had no stomach for facing any threat of violence, M.A. Jinnah and the Muslim League let loose an orgy of street violence in August 1946 under the name of ‘Direct Action’ to press their demand for Pakistan. It took particularly virulent form in the Calcutta Killings, which stopped only when the Hindus began to retaliate. But Jinnah’s assessment of the Congress leaders was vindicated when they readily agreed to his Pakistan demand though they had come to power in the election promising that they would not allow India to be partitioned.
The effect of Muslim violence, first during the Khilafat and then the Direct Action went beyond partitioning the country. It has left a permanent mark on the psyche of a large section of the Indian political establishment and the intelligentsia, especially the media. The result has been a state of mind that is oversensitive to the potential of violence in the name of any Muslim cause, leading ‘secular’ leaders to concede demands even before they are made. The Haj Bill introduced by the super secular Nehru in 1959 is a prime example. Nehru opposed also the rebuilding of the Somnath Temple for fear that it might enrage the Muslims. It reached its climax in Rajiv Gandhi’s ignoble surrender to Muslim fundamentalist threats in denying support to a poor Muslim woman—Shah Bano—divorced by her husband supposedly according to Islamic Law (Shariat).
This attitude of conceding Muslim demands to the point of abusing Hindu beliefs and aspirations is of course not limited to politicians. The intelligentsia, the media in particular, is especially sensitive to Muslim threats. For example, an English language newspaper in Bangalore was vandalized by a Muslim mob for publishing a perfectly innocent cartoon of the Prophet. It immediately came out with an apology for “hurting minority sentiments.” Other English papers in Bangalore (and other cities) have been vandalized on similar pretexts and have reacted in similar fashion. But the same papers vociferously upheld the ‘artistic right’ of M.F. Husain to paint nude portraits of Hindu goddesses. This blatant double standard, rooted in cowardice, is not lost on the Hindu community.
At the heart of this behavior is a state of mind that the great Egyptian-born Islamic scholar Bat Ye’or calls Dhimmitude (called Dhimmitva in India). It is the outgrowth of centuries of Islamic imperialism, which, though oppressive, provided a measure of protection to non-Muslim subjects as long as they were willing to accept their status as second-class citizens and live by the rules of the Shariat (Islamic Law). This was enforced through terror. As the Pakistani writer Brigadier S.K Malik wrote in his seminal The Quranic Concept of War, “Once a condition of terror into the opponent’s heart is obtained, hardly anything is left to be achieved… Terror is not a means of imposing decision upon the enemy; it is the decision we wish to impose upon him.” This has clearly worked in the case of Indian politicians and the intelligentsia.
We may therefore say that the root cause of this perversion, of using an anti-Hindu posture to protect against possible Muslim retaliation, is this state of mind of Dhimmitude. Politicians try to justify this by appealing to secularism, but most of them are not anti-Hindu when it comes to personal beliefs. In fact, a secularist former prime minister that is a devout Hindu, still opposed building the Rama Temple at Ayodhya because he felt it would lead to street violence. This is a typical manifestation of dhimmitude.
In the intelligentsia, dhimmitude is often compounded by hatred of Hinduism and opportunism arising from Macaulayite education. It has assumed extraordinary proportions in the English language media with each publication and reporter trying to outdo all others with sensational stories. In this game of one-upmanship, the truth was all but lost in the media’s coverage of the recent Gujarat riots. Some reporters went to the point of fabricating stories simply to get headlines. As this is getting exposed, part of the media has been forced to justify its coverage instead of reporting the news. This has led to still more absurd ‘reports’ being foisted on the public. This kind of damage control exercise is unlikely to help what is left of its credibility.
    From Khilafat to Gujarat
The Gujarat violence following the Godhra massacre is eerily like a mirror image of the Moplah Rebellion: then it was the Muslim Moplahs who rebelled, while in Gujarat it was the Hindus from all segments of society. But the causes were different. The Muslims Moplahs were rebelling in the cause of a foreign theocratic symbol—the defunct Caliphate—while the Hindus of Gujarat were reacting to an assault on a deeply held national symbol, their devotion to Rama. This is neither theocratic nor anti-national, though the secularist intellectuals and the media have spared no efforts to portray it as such by reversing the truth. More significantly, the continuing course of minority appeasement has led to a stage when the Hindus no longer believe that the Constitution and the courts can protect them. Many now feel that the government will not protect them, and they must rise up to protect their own interests.
This is the real significance of Godhra: the disenfranchised majority community is rejecting national institutions like the Constitution and the courts as pandering to anti-national forces. The suspicions in the minds of the Hindus seem confirmed by the fact that each amendment of the Constitution and several religious laws passed—as in the Shah Bano case—as well as several court rulings appear to be taking the country further away from them and further down the road of appeasement. And all this is supposedly needed to safeguard secularism. And now the Hindus are saying—enough is enough.
    Secularism: shattered illusions
The reaction to Godhra has shattered several illusions, notably the belief that Hindu tolerance and patience can be taken for granted, while Muslim sensibilities have to be handled with care. (This is the central principal of dhimmitva followed by Indian intellectuals and the media.) The folly of this belief was exposed in the Babri Masjid demolition in 1992, but the secularists were not willing to learn the lesson. Actually the late K.M. Munshi warned against it more than fifty years ago. In a letter he wrote to the then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, Munshi observed:
“In its (i.e., secularism’s) name, politicians again adopt a strange attitude which, while it condones the susceptibilities, religious and social of the minorities, it is too ready to brand similar susceptibilities in the majority community as communalistic and reactionary. How secularism sometimes becomes allergic to Hinduism will be apparent from certain episodes relating to the reconstruction of the Somnath Temple. …These unfortunate postures have been creating a sense of frustration in the majority community. If, however, the misuse of the term ‘secularism’ continues, …if every time there is an inter-community conflict, the majority is blamed regardless of the merits of the question, the springs of traditional tolerance will dry up. …While the majority exercises patience and tolerance, the minorities should adjust themselves to the majority. Otherwise the future is uncertain and an explosion cannot be avoided.”
This has now come to pass. Another shattered illusion is the idea of the class conflict that is implicit in the Indian intelligentsia. Both academics and non-academics have long proclaimed that the lower castes and the tribals together with the Muslims are in a perpetual state of struggle against the ‘Brahminical’ oppression by upper caste Hindus. The Gujarat riots have shown the opposite to be true. The most violent reaction against the Muslims came from the dalits, the depressed classes and the tribals. It appears the worst oppressors of these people were not the caste Hindus, but Muslim moneylenders and contractors, who in many instances did not scruple to take advantage of the vulnerability of the women belonging to these classes. The backlash to Godhra has come mainly from these people, in rural and tribal areas.
In spite of this catastrophic failure, there are no indications of the secularists coming out of their self-made web of delusions. This is not surprising, for intellectuals rarely re-examine the foundations of their belief and convert. As Max Planck, one of the founders of Quantum Physics observed in 1936:
“An important scientific innovation rarely makes its way by gradually winning over and converting its opponents: it rarely happens that Saul becomes Paul. What does happen is that its opponents gradually die out and that the growing generation is familiarized with the idea from the beginning.”
This will be the fate also of the secularists and their ideology: both will become irrelevant and extinct through the passage of time, and the succeeding generations will grasp the lessons of their failure right from the start. In the meantime, in the few years of active life still left for them, the secularists are likely to cause considerable damage to society. The Hindus today are in an enraged state, feeling that they have been disenfranchised in their own country while the groups that have openly expressed their hostility to their homeland have been continually appeased with nothing to show in return. At a time like this, what is needed is a healing touch, not more abuse heaped on the Hindus and their beliefs, adding fuel to the fire. But this is precisely what the secularists are engaged in: their concern now is not society but salvaging their own shattered reputations. They are engaged in a massive face-saving campaign in which truth has no place and logic has given way to sophistry. It will get them nowhere, for they cannot fool everyone forever and they will sink deeper into self-deception.
The greatest mistake that any minority group can make is to place their trust in these defeated souls. A drowning man doesn’t save others— he will only take others down with him. This is what is likely to happen to those who are taken in by their bluff, “sound and fury signifying nothing,” as Shakespeare put it.
This has a special lesson for Christians whose leaders seem to be acting under the combination of an atavistic anti-Hinduism and unseemly opportunism. As during the staged ‘Church bombings’ a couple of years ago, some Christian leaders are trying to discredit Hinduism and the Indian Government by indulging in an international propaganda campaign on the issue of the Gujarat carnage. It has now come to light that a leading Indian Christian propagandist—one Father Cederick Prakash—was behind the recent European Union report that gave wildly exaggerated stories about the atrocities simply to discredit the Gujarat Government. He may feel clever for having scored some propaganda points, but he has hardly helped fellow Christians with his cleverness. Christians should understand that their best safeguard is the goodwill of the majority. It is a carefully nurtured illusion that European countries and America will come to their rescue in times of trouble. This shows that they have still not come out of their colonial mindset. But fools rush in where angels fear to tread.
    Europe following India?
In analyzing the current world situation, one basic fact stands out: the world is terrified of Islam and the violence that it brings. If this fear is a recent phenomenon, which did not come to the surface during the era of European imperialism, it is only because the means of destruction now available are far more lethal and extensive. Also, the European military superiority, which was a major source of power in colonization, has not been of much help in combating terrorism today. It should be an object of humility to the West that both the means of massive destruction—if not mass destruction—and the training necessary for it were provided by the Western countries themselves in pursuit of nebulous goals.
There is still an unwillingness to face the truth of the Islamist threat—resulting in policies of appeasement and craven opportunism. To take an example: by any logic, India should be an invaluable ally in the fight against terrorism. But western countries never miss an opportunity to condemn India for real or imagined persecution of Muslims in the hope of gaining some Muslim goodwill, which of course will never be forthcoming. On the other hand, the West will continue to be the target of Islamic hatred, while simultaneously losing the trust and goodwill of India. This is exactly what happened soon after the sanctimonious utterances of the European Union (led by Britain and France) over Gujarat— a car bomb exploded in Karachi killing a dozen Frenchmen. The West should learn a basic lesson: it cannot divert Muslim anger to India by taking an anti-Hindu stand. It is both craven and unsound.
Recent developments suggest that politically and intellectually Europeans are falling into the same trap of appeasement and self-delusion that India is coming out of. As Bat Ye’or pointed out: “Today, the United States and Europe compete for the favor of the Muslim world by once again abandoning the victimized peoples to its mercies. The Gulf War against Saddam Hussein on the question of oil interests (1991) was redeemed by the destruction of Yugoslavia and the creation of new centers of Islamist influence in the heart of the Balkans… The war to annihilate Serbia was intended to punish the crimes of Milosevic and his regime, but the media campaigns endeavored to calm the anti-Westernism in the Muslim world and of Muslim immigrants in Europe. It also helped to gain forgiveness for the war on Iraq by a strong pro-Muslim counterbalancing policy in the Balkans.”
But this appeasement—sacrificing innocent victims of Islamic imperialism to save themselves—is unlikely to work. There is no sign of a corresponding response of gratitude from the Muslim world. Appeasement is a one-way street. The French have probably been the leaders in this appeasement race, but they were themselves victims of terrorist bombings in Karachi. European Christian organizations in particular, beleaguered by declining fortunes in the ‘Christian’ West, are prepared to go to any length just to survive. The Church lives in constant fear of losing Rome to Islam as it lost Jerusalem to the Arabs in the first millennium and Constantinople to the Ottoman Turks in the second. This existential fear is not helped by the presence of Islamic armies in Kosovo, a hundred miles from Trieste on the Italian border, aided and abetted by NATO and the US with their lopsided priorities in the Balkans.
(This shows the utter folly of Indian Christians antagonizing the Hindus in the fantastic hope that the ‘Christian’ West will come to their rescue! Neither Europe nor America has come to the rescue of Christians in Pakistan and Indonesia.)
    Conclusion: Look beyond Godhra
We may now sum up: Godhra is a symptom, not a culmination. It is a sign that the Hindus have had enough of ‘secularism’. It is also a sign that a significant section of Muslims—or at least its leadership—believes that threat of violence always works. Any debate now must look beyond the immediate events to search for the causes that led to the bloodbath. And this debate must be directly between the participants, the Hindus and Muslims, without ‘secular’ intermediaries who have a stake in keeping alive old antagonisms. The facts however are simple: the majority community has been made the scapegoat by an opportunist group of appeasing politicians and self-serving alienated intelligentsia. In the name of secularism, these products of dhimmitude have sought to treat the Hindus as contented slaves who should cooperate in their self-aggrandizement. The Hindus are rejecting both their labels and their ‘secularism’, which they have seen through as nothing but minority appeasement plus dhimmitva.
What the reaction to Godhra suggests is that the ancient civilization of India is recovering its historical sense and begun to throw off the remnants of Islamic imperialism. Secularist historians have been telling us that India was under imperial rule for only two hundred years or so. The truth is that a large part of India, especially North India was under Islamic rule for nearly five hundred years, until it was replaced by the British rule. The imperial mindset of Muslims however continues to this day. This can be seen in their insistence on being ruled according to Arab Law (Shariat), their insistence on the sacredness of imperial symbols like the Babri Masjid among others. Many Muslim leaders still believe that India should be run as an Islamic state, with Shariat as the law of the land and Hindus as dhimmis. This is essentially the attitude of the secularists also, superficially Westernized, but who vociferously argue for special treatment for Muslims. This is driven by fear of losing their privileged status among the dhimmis. This is what makes them see rising Hindu nationalism as the enemy— for Hindutva and dhimmitva are opposite in vision.
Godhra is the beginning of the end of dhimmitva. The first to disappear will be the secularists. Then it will be a struggle for nationhood, of true nationalism based on the vision of ancient sages down to modern ones like Sri Aurobindo and Swami Vivekananda, against dhimmitva and its beneficiaries.

What on Earth are you all about? This was about Sonia Gandhi. Are you living on a completely different planet? I mean your views might mean something if you had posted it on some extremist religiously fanatical site! I think most of the extreme hatred and bigoted views by most people here germinate from their blinkered views about other religions they hate – mainly christian and muslim. I cannot believe what this Vikas is saying about Indian Christians placing their hope on the West and Europe. Give me a break!

I am a Indian Christian. I have lived with Hindu neighbours for 34 years all my life. As neighbours we really mix and support each other. I dont care a damn about the West or Europe or dont need any support from them. In our street, we live, especially with one neighbour (that too, Brahmin) we are like one family, one bond, united in happiness and sorrow. It might not be happening everywhere. But you and many other people like you are sowing the seeds of hatred in India.

This is my request to all people with such hatred – India is a beautiful country – please do not destroy it with your religious violence. Please live together in peace and harmony. All of us are human beings and we need to share our love with each other not our hatred.

One more mysterious death was of Mr Aladi Aruna. He was the only living member of the JPC which enquired Bofors. He was killed immediately after Congress came to power. Only one paper ( Deccan Chronicle) had the guts to refer this murder to Bofors. This case is a perfect example of foreign mafia killing. ( Strategically, his daughter was made a minister in DMK government)

Ms Sonia was closely monitoring / watching the Rajiv’s case all through and one recent film on Rajiv’s death claims that the sorrounded LTTE people could have been caught live had the army was not forced to standby for 12 hours.( the inference is those surrounded were given enough time to reconsile to imminent death. Had they been caught live, the case could have gone one step deeper on the motives of LTTE)

For the sake of argument, let us assume what Dr.Swamy says is nonsense. Even then, democracy has real meaning only when the same family does not rule the country continuously. This country has a rich histroy and we had come out of the Moghal,British rule after a long long war. It may take some more time to know who the real rulers are. Ms Sonia is after all the front women( It is another point that she has another front man in our PM). This is a different form of Slavery.

In this context one could understand the viruperative campaign against Mr Modi as he does not fit in to the schemes of powers that are ruling the country now ( From where ever they are!!). He need not have to protect either him or his ancestos from scams!!!.

Some men’s convictions that Dr.Swamy changes colors is no reason to deride and belittle facts and truths. In fact Sonia couldnt prove her innocense in these counts when she filed a defamation case in American courts through her party wing when Indian americans dafamed her in a ‘New York times’ add. She had to pay a penalty through INOC as she didnt go there to defend herself. Shame on a counrty of 1 billion people that their proxy – leader cannot defend herself!!!

It is really awakening for people like us who think Sonia family is a GANDHI family. Having suffix only will not make them good and eligible to rule the country.

Sad part is millions of rural, urban, uneducated, intelligible voters/ citizens vote in elections while discreet middleclass sit at home. Even if they venture to vote, they dont find their names in the voter list. This selective exclusion of eligible middleclass voters in itself is a conspiracy. Until and unless all patriotic indians come on one track, no good will happen to us.

Utter Rubbish!!! There is not an iota of proof or logic to what he wrote…

Common guys… I am not a fan of Sonia, but this article is worse than a cooked up fiction story…

Sonia Gandhi’s dad was jailed in russia…and from there he links sonia to KGB…

Behind this, it is clearly CIA once you start solving this puzzle you will get every card fit on its place. I don’t think Dr S. Swami cracked this puzzle .
    I give you some hints

    1) Atalji’s government was first successful democratic revolution in India . There was no blood no violence and we simply put the different people in office . Now I say there was not 100% honesty there but top rank people were nationalist.
    2) Yet America was blind about it and CIA took no seriousness of this change.
    3) Nationalism of Atalji made him to do POKHRAN and on the same day BJP conforms its end. It was nationalism but it was suicide of nationalists. How can CIA let live after such terrible thing.
    4) You need to be China or Korea to protect yourself from CIA after doing this . the full metal jacket is needed . India is quite easy for penetration . Even BJP is penetrable CIA can split BJP in thousand pieces.
    5) What more CIA can make sure that there loyal Congress should always come in power they can remove obstacle of ballet paper by putting easy programmable Electronic voting machines .
    6) They can bribe some supreme court justice to give the judgement that Electronic Voting Machines are pride of India .
    7) Easily impressible Indian media Is so CIA favorite. It don’t even take to bribe them a bottle of chip vodka to tune them . And we are seeing every single media is singing song of how EVM s are pride of India.

Is Sonia a prisoner of a corrupt mafia section of congress ?
That is paramount question in my mind. When she hid in embassy after indira lost elections, why she did not go out of India to Italy? Simply because she was not allowed to go away by congress guys.
She is even now a mascot and icon of Nehru family which is election selling symbol for congress goons.
With this kind of brand management, congress won’t mind her doing a few hundred crores manipulations.

The real culprit is congress party.Do we think they are so naive that they dont know about all this? despite it they put her on their heads? Why?
We Indians are bent upon to be ruled by foreigners?

  105. #105 by Reeko on July 4, 2010 - 11:42 am

Is this guy the same Swamy who “taught” at IIT Delhi circa 1973 ?

    I remember him.

I don’t think anyone would want to source anything from him be it about Sonia, Antonia , Uncle Scrooge or Donald Duck .

As for your piece about having no idea about this being true or not but playing along anyway because it was “amusing” until you suddenly turned “scared with her as the ‘leader’ of the govt.”…..Oh!
Slimy stuff like that makes the tale LESS and not MORE believable .

The coefficient of resistance does seems to go to zero by mere association.

Sonia Gandhi had `also lied about her date of birth in the Parliament records.

At the time o her marriage in Orbassano Church, she declared that both were of same age and she was also bon in 1944.

When she came to India after marriage she was asked by someone how she could be the daughter of Stefano, who was in Russian prisons in Siberea until end of WWII in 1945, as she claimed to be born in 1944!!

She went back to Italy, changed her passport with a new date of birth of 1946 and also the place from Luciano to Orbassano, and returned to India with the new Passport.

Immigration records of her first entering India as wife of Rajiv and her present passport records would reveal these facts

  108. #108 by Indian on November 1, 2010 - 7:48 am

I do not know what you want to prove here by digging deep her family history. If your forefather were loyal to Aurangzeb, do I need to curse you now? People like you called “Racist”, no matter how beautifully and intellectually you choose your word but your motto is clear. I doubt if you ever try to dig that deep about Atal Bihari, will you? If I start posting personal life of your so called “Great Leaders” you will not be able to hide your face.

We are all human with our weaknesses and realities. Article like this seems just a desperate effort of ruining someone’s image by hook or crook.

I would suggest you dig a little deep your family history and you would be shock to know that few of your living family members are working as prostitute, will you do this dig? What your wife have been doing in past or what your son is doing in your absence, can give you a little insight.

Shame on you. I doubt if you ever publish my comment on your site.

Being a patriotic citizen of India, this article revelas some brutal facts about Sonia maino.
at the end of reading this article question came to my mind is
” Is India really an Independent Country?”

  111. #111 by senthil on November 12, 2010 - 1:20 pm

For those dis-believers, subramanya swamy had already filed lot of cases in supreme court about sonia’s education and other questionable things.. those were not reported in mainstream media..

  112. #112 by SIVA on November 15, 2010 - 2:38 am

Why the Congress cadres are not agitating against Subrahmanya Swamy for disclosing these “facts”. Why this selective expression or ire against RSS only!!??

  113. #113 by ashish on November 19, 2010 - 2:59 pm

Just to add that if you look for Robert Vadera (Husband of Priyanka) in wikipedia, it is mentioned that he too owns an antique shop in Italy and strangely enough all his family members have died in mysterious circumstances…

Swamy is a self centred, undependable politician of the worst order.. For money & fame he will do anything.

As he is not getting his favours now he is opposing the Govt.Throw some bones, he will lick their shoes.
One person has asked -why is he aligning with JAYA. Birds of the same feather flock together.

its a real good research from Dr Swamy. although some of his tale is without facts , but most of the issues and the crux of the issues are real and with hard supported documents. our national leaders should raise this issue once again with proper homework .

I hope this 2G Spectrum issue would be the starting spark to bring up all these hidden threatening Issues to Limelight…..I strongly believe the Original Path to Indias real Fredom will start with the investigation of 2G followed by prosecution of Raja -> DMK-> Congress->Sonia. Because 2G has created unprecedented awareness on the Indian People that atleast everyone realised something is going wrong with the politics & sooner or later should come to a logical conclusion

there are better things we will do as citizens.First we must learn to accept individual differences of caste and class, it is unity that can overwhelm the foreign ambitions to rule and loot the nation.

This post is completely true..there’s nothin “amusing” about it because a man so brilliant and highly educated person (Subramaniam Samy) cannot make public statements without thorough knowledge in it..and the fact that he has filed such cases in court proves that it cannot be done without solid evidences to it..there’s no doubt that his claims are true or not…it is 100% true..Ur first line says u found this article to be amusing..I don’t think there’s anything to laugh about it though..but anyway I really appreciate ur efforts for putting this truly helps..

1)Its really surprising No media or Political party is covering or investing such a high profile allegation and that too on Congress chief from well known professional Dr.Swamy.

2)We should really appreciate Dr.Swamy for exposing these things. Because of him today 2G spectrum case was exposed and many more cases will follow

    3) If its FAKE then why Congress is not taken any legal action on Dr.Swamy? Dr.swamy has put on his party website article called “Do you our sonia”? For all Indian just vist the website and read it atleast once.

4)Dr.swamy exposed the truth of Sonia regarding her a)Fake sacrifse of PM post b)reg haer education with proofs c)Reg her family & relatives hidden agenda 4)reg Rahul Gandhis marriage with Venezula girl 5)Rahul Gandhis Boston arrest with 1.6Crore US-Dollers?

Pl visit Dr.swamys website or his party Jantadal website and read all his cloumns & the great work he has done by filing cases on Corrupt leaders…….

Did any of the media had raised their voice? Answer is NO……because we Indian are HYPOCRITES. Shame on Indians & Indian Politics.

    God save this country………..

  127. #127 by Muralidhar J on December 11, 2011 - 3:47 pm

    Dr. Swamy,
U are a superman (no exaggeration ) You have single handledly done what the whole opposition parties , the IB, the RAW, & other law and order machinery of the country could not do. You have saved India at least on 2 occasions, once by exposing Antonia Maino and now by catching the 2G scamsters. It is a shame that the opposition members were just sleeping (or were they deleberately looking the other way because they were partners in this crime ?) until you and the media started exposing them. Great Job! May god give you all the strength and energy to take all these issues to a logical conclusion.

Incidently I would like other readers to know that you have exposed lots of other politiicians starting from late Ramakrishna Hegde (former CM of karnataka in the early 1890’s) and Jayalaiitha (CM of Tamil Nadu) and now Antonia Maino , A Raja, and in the pipeline P Chidambaram. Yours has been an Odyssey of great inspiration. You are amazing.

If I ever get to meet you I will prostrate before you. A saashtanga Namaskaram ! God bless you Sir.

Those who oppose Dr. swamy’s findings are a clear pimps of congress and Sonia because of these illiterate ass holes, India is getting fucked by these corrupt politicians ( congress govt) since last 7 decades. The right minded people will be always helpless because these whores always were there, and they are now and they will always be in future as its India’s unfortunate. that is the reason India always subjected to foreign invasion and currently haunted by these traitor politicians
