Monterey Bay Tour

So, its my birthday and I was planning to spend the morning at the Flea market (ok.. ! It may not be the best way to spend a b'day… but still…) But, Keyur (My colleague at Extreme, Santa Clara) came to the rescue. He offered to take us in his car(a brand new Toyota Camry) to Monterey Bay.

And So, we set of by around 1:00 pm (Why do we always start this late?) . The drive to the place was too good. And Keyur being a good driver himself, the drive was pretty smooth. Raghu (Another colleague in Extreme) as usual was the navigator.

Monterey Bay Aquarium – Me & Raghu

At Monterey Bay our first point of visit was the Bay Aquarium. It was tooooo good. As the saying goes – "To understand god's miracles, look under the water …". I never knew that life below water was so beautiful. Of course I too have watched all those National Geographic programs. But, this was a different experience entirely. One has to see it to feel it.

The Jelly fish section displayed many different varieties of jelly fishes. Those creatures which almost transparent simple looked beautiful as they moved about.

The penguin section, Shark section and the Otter sections were my favourite. I really enjoyed the whole place. Anybody who comes to this part of the world should definitely visit this place. Believe me its worth it!
